Sweet Seed/Nut Cream

1 cup hemp seed and/or cashews (soak cashews for 3 hours and then drain, if not using a high speed blender)

2 soft pitted dates

1 tsp vanilla powder or extract

Orange zest, optional

Blend all ingredients with some of the soaking water in a blender until very smooth, adding more water as needed to obtain a creamy texture. Refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving. Leftovers may be frozen.
